Coffee Quiz ☕ - 7th Edition with Ishita of Italophilia

Our next subject for the Coffee Quiz is Ishita from Italophilia...the biggest and only Indian blog about Italy (how cool is that?).  We have been following her Instagram account for awhile and love that she seems as obsessed with the Bialetti tricolore as we are!

Coffee Quiz ☕ - 6th edition with Cara's Cucina

Next up is another Jersey girl, Cara DiFalco from Cara's Cucina!  We started following her on Instagram (you should too) but really went down the rabbit hole watching her YouTube channel.  Did you know it's YouTube's first and only Emmy nominated cooking show?  Um, it's kind of a big deal people!

Her videos are a mix of Italian classics (like one of our favorites, Tiramisu), healthy dishes (Quinoa salad) and travel vlogs (Orvieto looked amazing).  You can see a trailer for her channel here.

Coffee Quiz ☕ - 5th Edition with the KC Coffee Geek

We're so excited to have a coffee reviewer up next for the Coffee Quiz!  It's Steve Agocs from the KC Coffee Geek.  We 'met' Steve when he bought a San Giusto espresso cup and saucer set (and some espresso spoons) and then posted about it on Instagram.  Once we saw he was a coffee reviewer, we knew we had to follow him and you should too!

Steve is an instructor at a university in Kansas City and came to the coffee world for a creative outlet after a sporadic stint with a beer blog.  It seemed like a natural fit for someone who was into specialty coffee but also writing, photography, branding, graphic design and food/beverages.  He says the center of his Venn diagram of interests is coffee and we can identify with that!

Next up is well-known expert on Italy, Wendy, from Flavor of Italy.  I discovered her some time ago on Instagram and have been following her ever since.  One of my favorite posts, of course, involved coffee.  She's lived in Rome for years and loves to share its secrets!

Coffee Quiz ☕ - 3rd edition with Mangia with Michele

The next person who agreed to answer the Coffee in Italia questionnaire is none other than new friend Michele, from the awesome Instagram account Mangia with Michele.  We began following her within the last year and her posts about Italian food leave us drooling (you really have to check her out if you're not already following her).

I met her in NYC a couple of times IRL, and she's just as awesome as you'd expect!  She has an extensive background in the food sector after leaving her career in accounting to pursue her passion.  She's traveled extensively (even lived in Switzerland for a year) but loves her Jersey roots and can't imagine living anywhere other than the NYC area.  Seeing the view from her window in various posts makes me miss the big apple that much more!

So now that the first edition of the Coffee Quiz has been posted, I realized it was time to get cracking on finding more willing subjects to share their habits on il caffè!

Next up is friend of Coffee in Italia and appassionato of coffee, Roberto Maucci!  Roberto is a Roman Cimbali rep who we've come to know via his awesome Instagram account (follow him immediately!).  He's got a great sense of humor and loves to connect with other coffee fiends.  We're hoping to meet him IRL next time we make it to Rome.

The Coffee Quiz ☕ Begins with Tina's Table!

We know we're not the only ones who love coffee but we started wondering what other people are drinking and how coffee is a part of their lives.  So we created a short questionnaire to find out what various folks are doing and thinking when it comes to their coffee rituals. Nothing goes better with an espresso than un dolce. While I was on my travels around Rome trying various delicious espressi, While walking near the Pyramid of Cestius, I noticed on my google map that one of the outposts of a fantastic pasticceria was nearby. I had read a recommendation by @eminchilli that Pasticceria Barberini was a good place to try, but my surprise was the quality of the sweets!
